It is not hard to find a place to eat near your bed and breakfast in fact you’ll be so spoilt for choice you won’t know where to begin! We have selected a handful nearby that offer great Italian food, perfect to sample fresh products cooked in creative ways!

 

AL 34 (Via Mario de’Fiori 34)

Literally around the corner from where you are staying you may find the renowned AL 34. A real mecca for anyone wanting to sample a mix of Italian and Roman dishes using the freshest ingredients to offer you an unforgettable meal.

Open from Tuesday thru Sunday this restaurant at the centre of the bustling maze of streets has a great atmosphere with large open windows and tables pouring onto the streets.

This is the perfect place to sample messiness sword fish rolls, grilled radicchio with gorgonzola and delicious roasted fish and potatoes. Should there be room to fit in anymore there is always their home made deserts and the classic tiramisù on offer!

Antica Enoteca (Via della Croce 76/b)

For a wine bar/ pizzeria / restaurant look no further than your own doorstep with the antica enoteca (ancient wine bar) located literally on the B&B’s doorstep!

 

This warm and inviting wine bar has a restaurant at the back as well as outdoor eating during the summer months. And with a menu offering a never ending list of salads and pizza toppings this is great for a lunch or dinner down the lanes!

 

Caffè Greco (Via dei Condotti 86)

There could be no more famous and renowned than the Caffè Greco and tea rooms.

 

Located just around the corner from the bed and breakfast rome this is certainly well worth the visit, should it be for a quick espresso shot or a longer cup of well earned tea!

This ancient coffee shop was founded in 1760 and quickly became the ‘in’ place to be thanks to it’s excellent coffee and word of the rich and famous who frequented it’s rooms.

 

Re degli Amici (Via delle Croce 33B)

Located on the same street as our Bed & Breakfast ‘Re Degli Amici’, this restauarnts offers an amazing list of starters from sea food to fresh vegetables cooked in every way possible.

 

Their trade mark dish is fresh fettucine with ‘funghi porcini’ and with frescoed walls and ceilings this is a real Roman treat!

Prices are moderate and in the summer months there is the possibility to sit outside and they are open 7 days a week.
